Etowah tarps are the best out there. Highly durable and waterproof, they enable you to pack a robust sheltering device without using up too much weight or space. Perfect for bug-out bags and packs, and a solid addition to tactical gear loads.

All tarps are made with 1.9oz. nylon rip stop, coated with 1/2oz. of urethane, with 0.5 in. webbing tabs that are evenly spaced along the edges. 8 ft x 10 ft tarps have a single tab placed in the center.

FAQ:

Why 10 Feet Long?
After plenty of research, any shorter than 10 feet is either difficult to set up or too short to ensure your sleeping bag and gear can stay dry on a rainy night.

Why Use Tabs Instead of Grommets?
Tabs will last longer, and if field repair is necessary, can be done with dental floss and a needle. When grommets come loose, they either cut or tear through the material.

What Size is Best?
For an individual survivor, the 5 x 8 will fit one person with light gear. The 8 x 10 is the minimum size to be used for two survivors, or will provide a single survivor with more room for gear and general space.

MultiCam Version: Multicam fabric is a Military Pattern Fabric use commonly by the US Military. The MultiCam® fabric has up to 2 1/2 times the amount of water repellant coating of other tarps. The heavier coating gives you the max in water proofing, and fire retardance.
